Understanding Concierge Medicine
Concierge medicine is a membership model of primary care. Because the practice intentionally limits the number of patients it serves, your physician has the time for longer visits, direct communication, proactive prevention and closer coordination of everything else in your care.
The Concierge Membership Program is an optional program designed to provide members with enhanced access, convenience, wellness services, and additional amenities that are separate from, and in addition to, healthcare services covered by the member's health insurance plan.
The membership fee does not replace payment for the healthcare services that are covered by the patient's health insurance plan. Covered healthcare services under a member's insurance will be provided and billed in accordance with the patient's applicable health insurance plan and the Practice's participation agreements with the health plans. The practice will continue to bill participating health plans for covered services in accordance with the applicable health plan agreement and the patient's benefits.
Yes. Dr. Alhadeff provides comprehensive adult primary care and internal medicine, and serves as the primary physician for members of the practice.
Members communicate with him directly by phone, text and email during the day, with after-hours availability reserved for urgent clinical concerns that should not wait until the next business day.
No. Direct physician access is not a substitute for emergency services. For symptoms that may be life-threatening, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
Yes. Membership covers the relationship with your physician; insurance continues to cover hospital care, specialists, imaging, procedures, medications and other services outside the practice.
Care begins with a comprehensive evaluation: a full review of your history, medications, labs and risk factors, followed by a plan that reflects your health goals and priorities for the year ahead.
